Go grab your crayons and coloured pencils kids its time to create a poster before March 9, 2012, for the National Public Works Week contest in Brampton, Ontario, Canada!
The National Works Week, is between May 20th and 26th 2012 and is a chance to thank and celebrate the people who work in the City of Brampton's Works and Transportation department. They look after all of us and the city through the winter snow and summer heat taking care of our roadways, traffic signs and public transportation system.
This year's theme is "Creating A Lasting Impression" and it is open to elementary students in grades 1 through 3. The winning artwork will be used on various promotional items throughout the week and will be displayed on the city's work vehicles, website and more, but it must be entered by March 9, 2012, so you need to get busy.

While investigating Google+ Hang Out we didn't have clue what we were doing. We called up our our son and daughter and asked them to jump on Hang Out and see what would happen. It was great we could all see each other and talk back and forth.

Sometimes life deals a curve ball at you, sometimes they are very hard blows. Could you stand forever strong in spite of it all, hold your head up and stay with what you truly believe in?
With the fluctuating weather temperatures the lakes, ponds and streams may look safe to walk on some days but they are not. Underneath an icy cover is freezing, moving water. This is probably the case in many regions.
