Al and Peggy's Corner: WHO LIKES FREE?

WHO LIKES FREE?

Everybody that's who!

It is going to be a great week here in Canada! In Toronto and all around the surrounding areas, the temperature is a rising, the sun will be shining all week, as temperatures are scheduled to heat up to the high 20's or maybe even into the blazing 30's; Celsius that is!!  That's in the 80's in Fahrenheit. WHOO HOO!  We will definitely be looking for a cool down.

That's why its a great week in Canada because beside the weather being great, Tim Horton's is going to serve up FREE iced coffee Thursday May 21st between 12 noon and 5:00 pm! What a perfect day they picked! Check it out: http://www.timhortons.com/ca/en/menu/icedcoffee.html

What could be better than a hot day and an icy cold drink?  Awe come on, it's only about 110 calories of pure heavenly delight!

Is Tim Hortons copying McDonalds which had free coffee in the morning for two weeks very recently?

Posted by FN LN about 9 years ago

Hi Marc!  We are really not quite sure...think we saw Tim Horton's saying "its back" for its free iced coffee?? No worries though free is free and whether its McDonald's or Tim's its all free.  This is good right? All this free stuff?  Except KFC  & Oprah didn't offer the free lunch up here in Canada! Only the US......well off to see what else we can find...........

Can you have one sent to California.  I love an ice coffee in the afternoon.

Hi Jim!  Mmmm, let's see how we could do that! Cuz I bet in California you really need one?  Do you have any Tim Horton's donut stores there?  We know there are some in a few States, but maybe only those that are close to Canada.

For sure, we WILL think of you when we are slurping!

Aren't the tulips and daffodils blooming up in your area? You should take some pictures and let us all see.

They are blooming Jim! Actually in our garden the daffies are almost done and the tulips are just about popping open.  We'll see what the camera can grab. We just had a few days of sunny 30 degree celcius weather think that is 90 in farenheit.  Fabulous (almost) California weather eh?

Al & Peggy,

Haven't heard that here yet in BC; you may have to Fedex one to me.

Oh, yuk. Iced coffee? I don't even like coffee, but then to ice it down so that one cannot smell the rich odor of the warm coffee doesn't make sense. LOL

I love iced coffee, but I happen to know that the commente in #12 comment hates it.

Since you're in Toronto, you should do a blog on the CN Tower and all the beautiful tulips they have there, and probably everywhere else. When Russel worked in Detroit back in 1994, I flew up there to visit him and we drove over to Toronto and Niagara Falls.

Posted by Jim Frimmer, Realtor & CDPE, Mission Valley specialist (HomeSmart Realty West) about 9 years ago

Come on Russel...........the smell of the coffee aroma in the morning...............mmm. Ok, the smell of pancakes on the griddle is even better......................

Hey Jim, great idea, thanks. Hope you two got to the top of the CN tower and took in the view!  My stomach is in my throat when they show the window washers up there though!
