SPECTACULAR AND SPECIAL SUNDAY

Yesterday was Father's Day, the first day of summer and a marvelous day!

Mother Nature said YES! It's the first day of summer and she is going to show us what summer is all about.  Yesterday kicked it off with a sun filled 25 degree Celsius day, absolutely perfect and the week is forcasted to be full of sunshine for the next 7 days with temperatures all the way up to 28 degrees Celsius.  Finally!                             

Wildlife was out in full, frolicking in the sunshine.  We spotted a little brown weasel scampering around, pocking his head out of little holes, jumping in the water and swimming only to come right out again and run along the grass.  Chipmunks busy collecting nuts and seeds, boy they work hard.

We caught these little cuties, bobbing with Mommy. Here they are in action. 

Even though it was Father's Day, they didn't care, if the Mallard came near, Mommy chased him away and if she wasn't looking and one of the babies spotted him, the baby actually did the job!

It was an absolutely awesome day and hope yours was too!

Patricia, they were so cute to watch, we just had to share it! Thanks for coming by! Kim, glad you enjoyed your day...let's hope it stays this way for a bit. Caron, they were so cute, we noticed the Mommy duckie had no webbed foot on one leg though, poor thing hobbled along when she came out of the water! Have a great day and thanks for popping in!

What the heck is sell-sea-us? LOL

I don't much care if the temperature goes up only three degrees, it's when it goes up thirty or forty degrees when I start sweating. Another LOL
