Some staggering numbers aren't they. Sometimes it just doesn't seem posssible.
Al & Peggy, I heard a quote this year that the useful life of a new technology is about 74 hours. Not that we quit using it, but the replacement for that technology will be here in a few days. Wow. As the song said,' the times they are a changin'.
I have seen this before and it is very illuminating. The message I get is learn to be creative, learn to think, and never stop learning.
I usually do not watch videos of this length, but I did find it very interesting...

The new reality is inevitable and unstoppable, we might as well adapt to it or we will go the way of the dinosaurs.
I think part of the problem here in the States is that we are, indeed, preparing our students for problems that don't yet exist. We also need some students who can build things, such as infrastructure. That's what has allowed China to zoom into the world economic picture. They build things. We play around with paper money and electrons.
