Hello Active Rainers,
Earlier today we were crying to you about the cost of gas that doesn't seem to cost the same in the US. Although the gas in the US varied about 25-30¢ from the Canadian border down to South Carolina.
We think we have found the solution. However, there is a learning curve and we thought we should share it with you, just in case your Government decides to follow suit and change the sale of gas by the litre rather than by the gallon.
Only problem, need to figure out a way to get the heater working and get some good snow tires.

In addition to the heater and snow tires, I'm trying to figure out how to put the roof up. It's raining cats and dogs here!
Hmmmm - there are not many people wanting to give up their autos and start pedaling it out... except for recreation! good try!
where do you keep finding these videos?
Peggy does someone have to much time on his hands ;-)
Well Darrell, please keep it there! We have been fighting it for days and finally we are getting some sunny breaks, perfect for the old bikes!
Ah come on Diane, it would be fun......................for a very short while!!
Oh you remember how things work Chris!!!! LOL (He finds them for ways to punish me!!!)
Al & Peggy, I'll take my chances with the ever-fluctuating gas prices. My luck, I'd be the victim of a very ugly hit-and-run or a bike-jacking!
Al & Peggy--I love the humor. A good mountain bike or off road . . . then we would have to put a roof. Forget it. Walking might be an option, too. Have a good day.
Al & Peggy - You two are too funny and have a great sense of humor. I ride my bike every afternoon and save gas. The slower pace allows me to check out all the bikinis :-) Life is good!
Hey guys, back when I lived I New York City I used to ride my bile year round and through the snow. My husband says I used to be a lot smarter before I froze and thawed my brains out so much.
Hey Al and Peggy - You better hurry up and get your snow tires installed on your bicycles and automobile so that you are ready for the big snow falls that we might get this winter. :)
Al and Peggy you could make a lot of money if you find a way to create a heater for a bike ....... LOL
And by the way feel free to keep those gas prices up there :)
Chris, maybe you have some dirt about Al and Peg you could share with us. They may regret telling you to join AR.
John - Geez, just when I was going to applaud you for riding your bike for exercise you have to mention that word bikinis again. I am going to ban you from using that word in comments lol.
Sorry for hijacking your blog guys. I sent you an email about meeting for coffee tomorrow.
Wanda.....had to read your comment three times!! Kept reading flatuating gas!! Sorry having our own little party here!
Mary was starting to think about putting side cars on the bikes for clients.....will work on the roofs next.
Bikini man John! We have not seen bikinis in weeks and probably won't for a few months!!!
Too funny Suesan. Always wondered though how tough it is to plow through all that snow!
Now there you go Marc, saying that four letter word again!!
Hey George, heaters now? So what team you following now or are they YOUR Yanks still in the game?
Nuh ah Jenny, Chris has been sworn to secrecy right Chris? Got your e-mail will be glad to see ya again.,
Al and Peggy yep my boys are still in it and the first World Series game is tonight.
Well we know where you'll be then don't we!! LOL, ok, our guys our golfing already so we will root, toot toot for your Yanks!
Hey I know you can get one of those bikes for two and save even more! LOL
I'm getting my camcorder ready - with the snow and ice on the way, I'm thinking America's Funniest Video will be ready to award me first place with the funniest video :)
We often have the most expensive gas here in San Diego. Sometimes Chicago and Illinois will jump ahead of us, but they don't stay there long. We hate not being the most expensive gas in the U.S. Kind of strange since we get so much of our gas from the West Coast, so transportation costs are not to blame.
