Al and Peggy's Corner: So Where Should You Invest Your Money?

So Where Should You Invest Your Money?

So where should you invest your money... the Housing Market or the Stock Market

Both markets go up and down, but You Can't Live In Your RRSP or IRA

Take a quick look at the stats below, this is what has and is happening in the Toronto, Ontario real estate market.  Should have bought a few of them back in 1975.  Funny thing is, if you decide to buy one today the mortgage interest rates for the most part are better today than they were in the past.

If you live or are moving to the Toronto, Ontario area, give us a call, you will find our contact information below the chart.

Great information Al& Peggy,

We did a Forum last week, and one of the presenters mentioned that 77% of Canadians (according to a recent survey) preferred real estate to the stock market...

Hi Al and Peggy, that's the nice thing about real estate... you can live in it or you can plant a tree on it.  It's a tangible asset that'll be there even if the value changes.

As Realtors who better to buy RE right as a Stockbroker knows stocks. I buy and sell at least two a year and have never lost a dime. Even when the market tanked I rented them out for two years and made money.

Al and Peggy - The stats are picking up very nicely this year overall.  It would be interesting to include the population with the statistics so we could see how sales are progressing on a per capita basis.
