Well, today is the day... SuperBowl XLIV (44)

That's right in just under 9 hours from when this blog was posted (EST) SuperBowl XLIV will be getting started.  We are sure you have done your shopping... beer, wine, snacks and all the junk food you could get.

However, does everybody know what the game is all about.  Here's a short little video that will help the novice footballer to understand what all those guys are doing running around the field jumping on each other.

Do you know who won SuperBowl XLlll or how about XL or even XXXlll?  Because you are our AR friends, we thought we would arm you with these facts so you can be the John Madden in your house.  Just click on over here.

Enjoy the game and "The Who" at halftime and don't forget to get your bets placed on time.

LOL Al & Peggy, inquiring minds want to know, are you going to be watching?

We won't be.... of that I am sure. Now if it were, as my husband calls it, the REAL football, he might be watching.

Al & Peggy, What a great video find!  They're right, you'd have to be a hermit not to know (and they actually gave good advice--who doesn't have lots of snacks?)  :)

Al and Peggy - It was a great halftime.  Did you know that The Who were playing the theme song from CSI?

Did you know that David Letterman, Jay Leno and Oprah Winfrey had a Superbowl party together.  Honest.  They were eating potato chips, except for Oprah, and the party was held at David's studio.  Jay and Oprah flew in and taped it for us.

Al & Peggy - I'm not a football fan, but I must admit it was a great game.

Marc's comment (#11) was kind of funny about The Who playing the theme song from CSI. That should be reworded to ask, "Did you know that the theme song from CSI was written by The Who back in 1978?" It was a huge hit when I was entering college.
