A Little Competition Is Always Good... Better Arrive With Your "A" Game

Hello Active Rain

Isn't it funny how a little rivalry gets everybody going.  It's just a hockey game.  Of course we have to cheer for Canada, we also have to thank the United States team for waking up our team.

Since their loss to the US, Canada went on to beat the Germans and Russia.

We have our fingers crossed that Canada and the US will make to the final game on Sunday for the Gold Medal.  That will be a game to see... North America can't lose.

Al and Peggy the first game was a great one, but the second one would even be better.  Lets hope that we get a chance to see it.

I love the Olympics.  I say that if the U.S. isn't in the event for a medal, I'm all Canadian.  I'm sad that it's almost over.

Sadly, I have had my nose to the grid stone and have not been following it on the telly. However I do catch up on the events via internet. There are two players from the Nashville hockey team playing in the Olympics. Once is playing for the Canadian team and one for the American team...

Good early morning guys.  Go North America Go!!!

Time for me to get going.  If you get up fast enough, I'll wave to you while I drive across the entire bottom of Brampton on the 407 within two miles of your favourite ActiveRain condo building on my way to Jenny's hometown.  I'll be going through around 7:15 am and coming back in the afternoon, hopefully before rush hour.

Hey A & P, the Olympics have been interesting with some interesting side stories; The figure skater whose mother just died, the speed skater who got messed up by his coach, the Korean speed skating team that got disqualified form their gold medal, the US Hockey teams beating Canada twice. Oopps, got ahead of myself!

Al & Peggy, I'm so happy to read this post and unless I've missed something it's looking better and better for a USA/Canada match.

Definitely with George on this:  GO NORTH AMERICA!!!!

Al & Peggy, sorry to clog up the posting, but I wanted to thank you for your direction to Jenny Kotulak's post and video about Canadian/USA relations...that was an outstanding video and I did learn things I didn't know...so very proud to share more than just a border with Canada.  Thank you.

Hi guys, thanks for pointing people over to the video.  And Nick thanks for stopping by.

Watched the game tonight.  Another exciting win.

Funny, I got an email from a friend today with the Tom Brokaw video attachment.  Seems it is getting a lot of attention.

Think everyone is going to feel that way when they are over Larry. Its been great!

That's funny Michael! That means you can't lose!!

Ah, wish we'd known you were passing us and our favouite condos Marc, we could have gotten you to deliver more features sheets!  Are you going to the Oakville library March 2nd??

Wouldn't that be a fantastic game Dagny? And a North American win!

You are very funny Ed! Hopefully our guys will have it 'all' together when they meet the U.S. players again!

We're counting on a re-match Gerry! That will be an exciting game!

We like the sound of Go North America Go! Nick

No problems Nick, we thought Tom Brokaw did a fantastic job and we learned things too!

Al & Peggy - I haven't seen any of the hockey games yet, but by all the comments I've read on facebook there seem to be a lot of heated matches going on.
