OK It's Time - Name That Photo - What Is This?

It's time to have a little fun, as the saying goes "All Work and No Play, Makes Jack Dull Boy".  Let's have a little fun and "Name That Photo".

What Is This?

Here are a couple of hints:

  • it is not a cow's tongue
  • that is not a little dinosaur in the bottom left of picture

Maybe tomorrow we will give you another hint, good luck!!!

Al and Peggy it looks like a frazzled piece of cloth of some kind.  I will be looking for the answer.

As my marketing guru might say, "It looks like a doohickey."

Mushroom?????  A close up on a mushroom????

Posted by Larry Bettag - Cherry Creek Mortgage about 2 years ago

Well, cow's tongue was my answer, but you said no... so I will have to wait and see. Of course I could always make something up......

Some kind of insect up close?

Posted by Mike Wilbur (ENG Lending Salem, Oregon) about 2 years ago

Some kind of fungus or mushroom?  That is the best that I can come up with!

Morning guys - My dreaming last night could only come up with fabric or part of an article of clothing.  Not much of a dream, eh?

Posted by Marc Swartz, CA, CPA Toronto, Durham & York Regions, Ontario about 2 years ago

Hey guys you zoomed so close to almost make it blur. Part of it looks like an abandoned bee's hive, and other parts look like a cast off cocoon from a butterfly larvae. Need more hints

It looks like something I saw on "Extreme Diagnosis" on the Discovery channel last night! Yuck!

Maybe it is a mushroom?  Or some sort of tree fungus?

Posted by Michael Delaware, CRS, e-Pro (Troxel Realty Co. LLC) about 2 years ago

I'd say mushroom or some sort of fungus as well, but that's not really that disgusting, is it?

Hmmm....

Roadkill?

Posted by Pam McInnes about 2 years ago

Several of your recent posts are of animals so perhaps it is part of something you took a photo of at the zoo

Have absolutely no idea!   You haven't shot down the fungus, yet, not enough pattern for a mushroom.....

Posted by Dagny Eason Lower Fairfield County CT CDPE Homes For Sale and Condos (Dagny's Real Estate LLC) about 2 years ago

Guys upon futher review, I'd say a discarded snake skin.

Posted by Ed Silva CDPE, GRI, ABR, Real Estate Agent (RE/MAX Professionals, CT 203-206-0754) about 2 years ago

Well Michael started to steer you in the right direction but was barking up the wrong tree. Then Larry, later confirmed by Tony moved to the mushroom idea.

Pam expanded the mushroom idea and expanded to the fungus idea.  Dagny was still thinking along that fungus road.

We have to admit, we used a close up to throw you off, but not for long.  We found this fungus on a tree in the backyard of one of our listings.  Good work AR, the power of group thinking.

Picture of fungus on a tree...

Fungus

Thanks for playing...

All and Peggy - I would have never guessed it!  I was leaning toward it being my stomach after eating too many jalapenos:-)

Posted by Myrl Jeffcoat (Real Living Great West Real Estate) about 2 years ago

Al and Peggy,

I was leaning towards an underwater creature.   After I saw the answer above, I realized I was way off.

Posted by Gerry Khatchikian, ASA, TRC, SFR about 2 years ago

I was leaning towards some kind of road kill, but I thought that might be below you.

Posted by Jim Cheney Rincon Valley Real Estate (Saint Francis Property Santa Rosa, CA) about 2 years ago

Al & Peggy,  it looked a little like what I had to eat last night...I'm still paying for it.

Al & Peggy - Never in a million years would I have guessed that.

Posted by Michelle Gibson REALTOR® Wellington Florida Homes for Sale (Hansen Real Estate Group Inc. ) about 2 years ago

I was ready to guess a real close up of some type of flower, I did not think of fungus, nor would I have... you had me on this one
