Look Out "Bullwinkle" You're Not The Only Moose In Town
It's Monday again... Monday represents a lot of different things. The first day in a new business week, Blue Monday, Manic Monday or how about Marvelous Monday.
Here at Active Rain we have Moose Monday. Gerry at Red Lodge started a group some time ago to have us all share our Moose. Well, when you live in a large populated urban area, you don't see any Moose running around so you have to be a little more creative.
We found this Moose... and can you believe it, it was yellow. So we threw it into a collage program to make it a little more interesting... look at what we got.

Haven't heard of Moose Monday, but I have my own photo I can add. Look for it.
I have never seen a real live moose, and think it would be quite the sight. I get excited when I see a large deer!
I can't even remember seeing one at the Toronto Zoo...but there must have a been one there, right?
Al & Peggy - Where did the two of you find a yellow moose? I like the collage.
Al and Peggy, OK I got to draw the line somewhere. I could have gone for Rocky the Squirel, but Bullwinkle is a little much :) :) :)
Checked it out Jim, very funny! Man or moose.....http://activerain.com/blogsview/1607969/man-or-moose-
Yes Pam, they are at the Toronto Zoo, actually a baby one too. All the way down, and we mean all the way down a very big hill at about the farthest back end of the entire Zoo. But....we did make the trek just to get a picture for Gerry at the Red Lodge and post on his Moose Monday. It was the strangest thing, as we were aiming the camera for our shot, Gerry e-mailed us! Amazing eh?
Well Michelle, when we spotted this yellow specimen, we were flying up our major highway 400 to go North for the weekend. When we saw this guy we had to veer off and go capture him!
LOL George! Rocky the Squirell was our favourite but we are not sure if there is a squirell group here in the rain......wanna start one?
I was beginning to think I was deprived because I don't live in an area with moose. However, I found something around the house, that I think I can photograph in time to participate in next week's Moose Monday. So stay tuned!
Al & Peggy, That moose is a fashionable part of Spring, just look at his vibrant coat of color! Thanks for the hmmm moment!
That's great Myrl! We will be checking that out next week! ;)
Good point Wanda, the colour is what attracted us to him. He's an eye catcher for sure!
Oh boy, I walked away from the whole moose Monday thingy because where was I going to get a shot of a moose? Now you have given me an idea, very interesting, LOL. Thanks!
And I love the yellow moose!
PS, we do have moose here, rarely but we have them.
You were flying up the 400? How did you manage to escape traffic? It couldn't have been the middle of the night or you wouldn't have seen the moose. Good one.
Al & Peggy, nice job getting in on Moose Monday! Very good collage of photos!
Al and Peggy - I have heard that jaundice can turn your skin yellow - but a Moose??
Great Andrea, we can only imagine what you have in mind LOL!
Ha, ha, we know all about the traffic Jenny. So far it hasn't started yet this year, but if this weather keeps up it will very soon! Don't even talk about the long lines and jams there.
Thanks Tony and Darcy, it sure put him in some wonky positions!
LOL Rick! He has jaundice for sure!
Hi Guys, all those moose must have the same lineage, they all look alike regardless of the photo angle. In reading the comments, be forewarned, Andrea is going to get Moose ears and put them on her favorite cow and pan it off for Moose Monday
Al/Peggy...
got to say, love the moose, not sure about the colour though...
who'd a thunk that Al would get so creative with the collage ;-)
LOL Ed! We know, we can't wait til Monday to see just how Andrea dresses the old moo moo up!
Ha, ha, figured this one out did you Chris?
Very nice collage, but I have not heard of moose monday. It wouldn't work here, I don't think we have ever had any...
Wow a yellow moose! Good work!
Ug. Instead of collaging it, I would have recolored it. I don't think yellow is that moose's color.
Al and Peggy,
I don't know how I missed this one!
I will have to check the collage website. Thank you for the mention and for getting more members to discover Moose Monday. Guess what day is tomorrow? :)
It's Moose Monday! Have a great week! :)
I'm sorry, but that yellow moose is ugly, just plain ugly. No two ways about it.
