What Would You Do In This Position?
Just finished reading this excellent book written by Jodi Picoult called 'House Rules'. It's Jodi's 17th book, and she does another fabulous job keeping you the reader on the edge of your seat.
'House Rules' includes almost every type of story line there is except Sci-Fi. It's a story about a family where one of the members has Asperger's syndrome a form of autism and as the book cover describes the story "a family torn apart by an accusation of murder". It is 532 pages, a big book, but don't let the size scare you away from tackling it. 'House Rules' is an easy read; a page turner; you'll sail right through it.

If you are looking for a great book to read this summer, pick up 'House Rules', then let us know what you think, and tell us,

Hi Al and Peggy - You know how you guys always assume that I know who writes each post, e-mail and BB message and I normally can't tell?
Well, this is one was definitely written by Peggy!!! Only Peggy would measure a book by the number of pages and call a book a "big book". Al would measure a book by word count, megabytes or some other electronic measure. To him, all books are all the same thickness since he reads e-books.
Am I right or am I right? (at least since last Christmas when Laura Claus came down the chimney, LOL).
;)
It is a good book Judi we are confident you will like it. Let us know! Happy Memorial Day!
Well go get it Jay! Not sure if it will be an escape though it has a lot going on! Hope you have a great Memorial Day!
Hey come on Michael, stop and smell the roses LOL! Kick back, grab a cool one and settle in. Have yourself a good Memorial Day!
LOL Marc! Good deductions Watson our friend, however, we always discuss the books we are reading without giving the story away of course, in case the other one wants to read it. That being said, your deduction was possibly correct in who read the book, but not necessarily in who wrote the post, The reference to the size of the book and number of pages was part of the book review for those who may be interested in reading it. So Columbo, let the games continue and keep guessing!
Peggy thanks you for sharing this book review. I started a book club "Wine Women and Widsom" about 3 years ago and we have read seveal of her books ( Jodi Picoult), and we have been looking for some great summer reads.. will pick this one up..
Peggy, never read anything by Jodi Picoult, but between Helen and I, and with your recommendation, this book is now on our list =)
I've heard good things about the book and about the author's other books but I haven't read any of her works.
I am always looking for a good book to read. Too bad I didn't read this earlier as I have an all day flight tomorrow and cound use a good read.
