Day 3 of World Cup 2010 had no ties, 3 teams came out as winners.  Germany showed how to score.

Slovenia beat Algeria 1 - 0, Germany was all over Australia with a 4 - 0 match, and Ghana out scored Serbia 1 - 0 to take the win.

Monday June 14, 2010 World Cup 2010 enters Day 4.

Game 9 will be between Netherlands and Denmark and played at Soccer City (Johannesburg), with a capacity for the World Cup of 94,700.

Game 10 will be between Japan and Cameroon at Free State (Bloemfontein), with a capacity for the World Cup of 48,000.

Game 11 will be between Italy and Paraguay at Cape Town Stadium (Cape Town), with a capacity for the World Cup of 69,070.

A lot of eyes will be watching this one.

How about a quick quiz, what flag belongs to what country... good luck.

The horns make it difficult to watch! What noise.

I tried watching yesterday for a while, but those horns were just too annoying, had to switch the channel!

Al and Peggy,

It will be interesting to see how the defending Wolrd Cup champions do in their first game today.

We will have to request the sound guys move away from the horn blowers, if they can find a spot LOL, Margo and Joan! It is one excited crowd!

It will be something to watch Gerry and we think millions are!

We knew a few of these flags, but a great many of them we didn't this is a history lesson as well as sports!

Al and Peggy I am looking forward to tomorrow because Portugal is one of the teams.  I have to be in a class during that time, but I am going to have my son tape it for me.

Hey Al & Peggy, already an upset with Japan beating Cameroon. That wasn't what was expected. So much excitement and anticipation. I'm with George on tomorrow's matches, Portugal is the family ancestry.  Goalllllllloooooooooo!

Ahh George don't listen to the radio on the way home then!! It sure has got the attention of the world....now which flag is Portugal LOL!

Yes Ed it was an upset. We live in a primarily Italian neighbourhood, we didn't even need the tv or radio to know what was happening!!
