España it's my favorite to win the whole thing since all the teams from the Americas failed to qualify.

I hope the referee wont make a difference on this game

What a great game the one between the Netherlands and Uruguay was. I hope the game between Germany and Spain is just as good. Looks like it's going to be an all Europe final!

I'm betting that a team from Europe will win the cup in 2010.

Al & Peggy - I can't wait to see the outcome of today's game it should be very interesting.  So many people thought Argentina was going to walk all over Germany and it was the other way around, so I can't wait to see what happens today.

Al & Peggy, that 2:30 game is about underway...I think I might have enough time to slide home to watch some of it.

Another day down, things are getting close to a final! Glad to see so muck soccer support in America.

Al and Peggy what a finish to today's game between Spain and Germany.  Spain should beat the Netherlands, but you never know what can happen in the finals.

Al and Peggy,

Viva España!   What a great semi-final.  Germany could not pull the same offense as they did in the last two games and Spain dominated the possession of the ball and managed to win.

It looks like we will a new country (one that hasn't won before) win the World Cup this year.

Al and Peggy - I'm looking forward to see what the next team who leaves will be doing after they go home.  After all, Uruguay just went fishing!

Al and Peggy,

Don't forget that despite taking a break to go fishing, Uruguay will have to come back and play Germany for 3rd place.  :)

It was surprising to see Spain shut down the high-scoring Germans. Looking forward to a great final!

So much enthusiasm was generated for a match between Brazil and Germany, and Spain that didn't look so good before the knock out round is going to fight for the World Cup. As with all sports, you never know how the ball/puck will bounce.

If Spain wins it will be the first time a team that lost their first game (group stage) wins the World Cup.

Netherlands has won all 6 games they played at this World Cup prio to going to the Final.
