Name That Photo

It's time for all you Active Rainers to put your heads together and figure this one out.  There are several clues in the picture to help you tell us "what's this is all about".

Now don't tell us pretty flowers, you know it has to be harder than that.

So, what is it?, who is it? and where is it?  Be specific.

Looks like the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz...Could it be that OZ is really in Canada?

Hmmm.  Looks like me that it's part of a recycling art project.  I saw something similar at a local nursery, where kids assembled disposable items into works of art, but had to incorporate greenery or flowers.  Appears to be a garbage can, artificial flowers, some garden gloves.  Could this now be the Tin Man from Wizard of Oz?

Al and Peggy,

I am going to guess that the garbage can holds charcoal on an outdoor patio.  The glove to the left is holding a metal strike plate for the matches.

Well, I can see that it is some kind of character made of a garbage can.....no idea of anything specific.  I have a friend in the A/C business that has built a little silver man out of pipe that stands in front of his office waving to passersby.....that is what I thought of when I saw your photo.

I'll be back to see what this turns out to be!

I agree with Gary. It is the Tin Man, he got his heart, retired from Hollywood and now spends his days tending to his gardens.

I have absolutely no more clue than the others above - Tin man coming out of the fields....

Al and Peggy,

Gary stole the words out of my mouth.  I am also thinking the thin man from the Wizrd of Oz.

It's quite obvious.  Peggy now makes Al wear this new outfit to keep him in one piece after his fall earlier today in http://activerain.com/blogsview/1738762/speechless-sunday-turned-into-silly-sunday-

A tin man mail box?

I'm with Gary. . .I think it is the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz.  He's made partly out of a garbage can.

Looks like it's FUN! Or at least a good interpretation of something someone considers fun!  Or should I say humurous!  But it's definitely a play on mixing the old with the new, as in a new purpose -Entrtainment!  You gotta love people with vivid imaginations! that like to be non conformists!

Sorry! I won't answer the question directly, I'd have an advantage over my counterparts, I grew up in Toronto, and travelled Hwy 9 & 27 for years.
