Fantastic News, Makes This A Thankful Thursday!
We just heard the best news and that is that our beloved cup of Java is actually good for us! That's right, now we know that our delicious cup of Joe is providing us with a gram of soluble fiber; the type that helps lower cholesterol; and that it lowers the risk of type 2 diabetes, Parkinson's and heart disease than those that do not indulge; has more antioxidants than blueberries and the magnesium found in coffee, may make cells more sensitive to insulin, reports the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry.

Now coffee lovers world wide can rejoice and drink up. Always knew our solo grande, non fat, no foam latte was good for us!

My husband will be glad to hear this...as for me I may have a cup of coffee 2/3 times a week.
I hate coffee, but I'm happy for you. I am a caffeine addict though. I need my tea!
Wooooooooo hoooooooooooooo, now that is good news for this coffee lover! Thanks.
Oh boy. That's the news this week. But I will take it because I love cappuccino.
Food / beverage for the soul.... me thinks I would deflate without it. Now if Rosie would only come and clean my house :)

Al & Peggy - This is very good news, I like to drink coffee, from now on I will have more coffee. Thank you for the information.
Al and Peggy - If I drink more coffee for the antioxidant effects, how will I get my fruit credits everyday from blueberries?????
Well, that is good news indeed (as I go down stairs to get another cup)...
That is fantastic news. I love coffee. Glad to know it's now 2 for 1 benefite.
The juice of jump, the elixir of energy, the cup with the giddy up, finally gets the recognition it deserves!
Glad to hear that I can drink without guilt! I drink it all day when I am not drinking water.
Hi Al & Peggy,
I reblogged your post with a little info about the health benefits of tea, since I can't drink coffee. Hope that's okay and enjoy your cup of Jo!
Rebecca, we think your husband will unite with the rest of us in celebration then!
And don't forget the hot chocolate in the winter time Larry!
Glad to make your day Roger!
Jane you have us craving already....
LOL Julie, then it really would be a perfect world!
Your welcome John. It's interesting how your body gravitates to what is good for it! :)
Ahh, we'll have to work on that one Marc, but................if you are already getting the fruit benefit in the coffee, do you need as much fruite????
Michael, maybe now there will be no more arguments about stopping for a coffee break mid day either!
It's a great rating Debbie!
LOL Craig! Juice of Jump?? Love it!
Same here, Christine, but that mix is deadly.....so maybe washroom restroom breaks!
Thanks for the re-blog Pam! We like tea as well, funny coffee throughout the day but tea after dinner is our favourite!
Wow, so much good from a cuppa... maybe I should consider coffee...
