It looks like some sort of bird, and I don't know how it was taken!

Looks like a log sticking out of the water and you can see the roots of it below the crystal clear water? My best guess...

It does look like a bird and it was taken by a camera phone while falling into the water

It was taken from a deck holding the camera diagonally...

Looks like a bird with its head in the water... and could have been taken while wading with an underwater belt cam... Have to guess something!!  lol

This is a duck and it was taken by someone wearing a rubber ring.

Looks like water fowl trying to get away because you are too close, and in the haste to capture a photo of it the picture taker (a child) became unsteady on its feet and walla there you go a masterpiece.  How am I doing so far?

Wait a minute here is another scenario:  The bird is still trying to get away but this time the dog stepped on the shutter and created a masterpiece!  Am I close, no?  I think I'll wait for the truth.  (lol)

Al & Peggy - That looks like some type of bird and it was taken with a waterproof camera?

I would say the picture is taken with a camera strapped to dog that was swimming out to pickup a bird. The camera was activated by a remote control.

I'm in consensus with everyone that this is a bird of some sort and that the photo was taken right beofre falling into the water. Now, if we're all correct, the big question is who fell in...and how did that happen?

Looks like a duck diving for food... now you are either at the water line, or half under with a waterproof camera I hope ;-)  looking closer, I think you are on some sort of boat or flotation device based on the waves... and near shore since the water is not deep.

Al and Peggy, it looks like a duck to me, and the picture looks like it was taken accidentally or as the camera was dropping.

Al and Peggy - It looks like a floating duck nest on a stream, that was taken while you were rafting by.  Or perhaps it is only a camera suffering a hangover:-)

Hi Al and Peggy - I think the water is from Lake Simcoe or Lake Couchiching.  Did you take from a window on a boat?  I'm not aware that you own a waterproof camera or underwater housing for a camera.

Hey Al, I don't know how they got it, I swear, I wasn't going to tell anybody about your accident while at Niagara Falls, really!

It is a bird and were you in the water?

I'll go with the duck, and I just hope the explanation doesn't end with "splash"!

How did you do that...it looks like you are in an aquarium taking the ducks photos and he's got his head underwater looking for you.

Cheers
