The duelling firefighters will come out a'blazing on September 1st
and continue the battle until September 5th, 2010 in Brampton, Ontario, Canada! 
Firefighters
Over 400 firefighters are expected to invade our fair city, Brampton, Ontario, Canada
, from across Canada, the United States and from as far away as Dubai to compete instead of against roaring flames but against each other, in teams and individually for the 7th Annual Blazin' Weekend! 

This Firefit National charity and fundraising event will be held at Brampton's beautiful South Fletcher's Sportsplex 500 Ray Lawson Blvd. (Ray Lawson Blvd. & McLaughling Rd.) in Brampton, Ontario, Canada
and will run from 10 a.m. til 6:00 p.m. Wednesday September 1st until Sunday September 5th, 2010.

Here in the States we call them Firemen's Musters, I just love these events, it is amazing how in shape you have to be to be a fireman....have fun and post some pics

If this is the even I think it is, it is unique. All those firemen competing with scaling walls, and setting uo hoses, climbing ladders, very different. Have fun

Al & Peggy,  I've seen some of these competitions. They are GREAT entertainment as well as a great way for the firemen to blow of some steam.
