Al and Peggy's Corner: Wordless Wednesday - Stop Smell The Roses or Listen To The Pond

Wordless Wednesday - Stop Smell The Roses or Listen To The Pond

Wordless Wednesday - Stop Smell The Roses or Listen To The Pond

We just listed a house yesterday that was just the perfect setting.  Backs onto a ravine and off to one corner they installed a small pond with a fountain.

As we were checking out the backyard it was quiet and very peaceful... all we could hear was the splashing of the pond and a few birds tweeting.

So, here's the pond... listen, really listen and you will hear the fountain.

Pond with fountain...

That definitely looks like a nice, calming place to prop your feet up...

What a serene looking place.  Definitely needs a hammock close by.

Donna, we could have stayed for hours and hours.....not a bad place to host an open house right?

Ha, ha, Don, that would have been okay as long as you brought a buyer and sold it first!

Ya yes! A hammock would be just the icing on the cake. Nice spot isn't it!?

Al and Peggy I have a friend that has one of those in his back yard, and it is always peaceful to just sit by it when we go visit.

How about if we atop smell the roses AND listen to the pond? Both are so nice, I don't want to have to make a choice!

Hey A & P, were there koi in the pond as well? That looks like a very restful place, perfect for taking a nap?

George, ponds are so relaxing for sure, anything water is!

LOL! Dee, that was cute. Glad we gave you 5 minutes of peace!

Oh, it's just beautiful Michelle, it will be part of the selling feature!

Isn't it amazing how it can stir your thoughts Peggy?

LOL, no mud Gerry, you made us laugh!

We agree Craig! So ya, let's do both!

We're hoping it does too Christine, the whole house is nice!

It makes an nice addition doesn't it Roger?

Thanks Ellen, and after the week we are having today, we need to sit beside it awhile!

Well Ed there was something splashing around in there, but not sure if it was koi, fish or....

Now I wouldn't have asked about a rest room, I would have asked how near are the bushes?

Posted by Ed Silva CDPE, GRI, ABR, Real Estate Agent (RE/MAX Professionals, CT 203-206-0754) over 1 year ago

Or just bring your book and do both while you read.  To be able to enjoy something like this would be nice.

Nice isn't it Josh.  We actually made that picture into a card for our Owners.

LOL! Yes, because you wouldn't need a rest sitting beside that gorgeous pond but bushes......yes they are nearby too, but Ed, we would let you use the washroom that is conveniently on the main level!!

Absolutely Shelton! The perfect summer oasis.

We have five fountains near the back patio so that we're never without the sound of running water. It's particularly nice to fall asleep to.
