Wordless Wednesday- Working Out With Meat Loaf
Every morning, okay well almost every morning we work out to Meat Loaf's (aka Marvin Lee Aday) DVD 'Meat Loaf Live with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra'. Don't let the word orchestra fool you!
It is a grueling workout just trying to keep up to Meat Loaf as he belts out his popular tunes such as Fire, Mercury, Bat Out Of Hell and more. The man is an amazing performer (what other performer do you know who would finish a tour in a wheelchair because they broke their leg?) and backed by the Neverland Express on this DVD (all talented individuals) we are thoroughly entertained.
Today, we were so happy to hear Meat Loaf is releasing a new album 'Hell in a Handbasket' on March 13, 2012. Meat Loaf himself says this is the most personal record he has ever made, so we can't wait to get our hands on it. We are sure Meat Loaf will not disappoint.

Working out is so much better when Meat Loaf comes along!

Al and Peggy,
Darn if I don't work out to Meatloaf too. Just a little different than you. Fork down, fork up, fork down, fork up.
Rich
Hi Al and Peggy,
So do we call this work out "sweating meat balls"....)
By now I am more the easy listening music exercise person, we really have to get back to the gym...
I think I would enjoy that too. Of course my Husband would divorce me because he dislikes him with a passion!
Al and Peggy I do a grueling work out every morning as well. It is called "my wife trying to get me up out of bed" ........... LOL
I am not a morning person :)
Why just today I had meat loaf for lunch, without music. He's definitely been around for a while
Whatever works for you is great, as long as you work out and get moving!
Al & Peggy - I haven't heard a song by Meatloaf in years, interested what his new album sounds like.
Al & Peggy, well you found a friend here, but that's probably not a surprise to you knowing how much I like music. I really like "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" ...I'm listening to it as I comment...thanks you got me rockin' tonight.
Al & Peggy, Thanks for the heads up on the new release from Meatloaf. Now drop and give me 20. hehe.
-Paul
When I read the title, I thought that Meatloaf was in your aerobics class. :)
Thanks for the post.
You know me, a grueling workout would consist of eating meatloaf.................
Al and Peggy ....I'll have to check that one out ....Thanks!
Have a great workout today!
I love Meat Loaf, ezpecially with some mashed potato and gravy...
OMG Rich, that is too funny!!! Will be thinking about that on the treadmill this morning!! ;)
My face is getting a work out laughing here Pfann's!!
Really? Didn't think anyone didn't like the Meat Ellie!! The DVD is awesome and you have to give them all credit for the acting parts!
One of us isn't either George....morning starts at 10 a.m.! ;)
Not the same at all Ed! Yes, he has and still going strong, ever watched him?
Absolutely Elyse and we find his fast beat just what we need to move it, move it, move it!
So are we Michelle and are hoping it is as good as the one we have!
Well as Meat Loaf says Nick 'keep on rockin' Check this DVD out Nick, you should see them act out Paradise. They are amazing!
We could only give you 20 Paul if it was before the Meat Loaf workout! LOL! You must get your workout daily being in the drywall biz.
It feels like he is Tom, up close and personal on the DVD, blasting away!
LOL Roger, you and Rich! These guys really perform on this DVD, its a real concert!
Thanks Rob and you have to check it out. It is really worth the money's worth. Fantastic group!
Ok, now you are making us hungry Gerry! Just no apple pie ;)
If Meat Loaf will encourage us to work out every day, it must be good for us.
Hi Al and Peggy.
That is a great way to start your day.
Have a nice day.
Ha, ha, not sure if his intention was to do a workout Roy, but it works for us and he certainly gets one just performing!
It really is Josh and feels good!
Music can motivate us Al and Peggy... It has been a long time since I have heard Meatloaf. Helen bought be the Granny 2012 CD and I love a number of songs on it, but not sure if I could work out to them.
Al and Peggy, I don't think I could name a single Meat Loaf tune since high school, but this is great that you use his music to help you get your exercise!!!
I guess one could say, an apple Meat Loaf a day keeps the doctor away!
Oh Chris this one is a live concert and with the band and full orchestra behind him it rocks!
LOL yes you could say that Bruce! ;) Watch for his new DVD!!
Al & Peggy, well I guess it's time for me to dust off the Eliptical machine and the Bowflex...I think it will be more fun with "Meat Loaf"
