Al/Peggy...a quick stop by the hardware store could save a lot of money and time on these home projects.
So many DIY'ers don't get permits when remodeling their homes and it only causes problems when they go to sell it. Not to mention that if there is God forbid a fire in the home, insurance won't cover the damage if it's deemed to have been caused by the unpermitted modifications.
Permit requirements are a must do! Dont' drive the first nail without checking!

That is even more convenient Marc and important that a home owner utilizes it!
