Al and Peggy's Corner: Keeping Your Cool In Brampton Ontario

Keeping Your Cool In Brampton Ontario

Keeping Your Cool In Brampton Ontario

cartoon sun with huge toothy smileIt has been steamy in the City of Brampton Ontario
to say the least as the temperatures hovered around 97 degrees Fahrenheit and that doesn't include the humidity factor.

While some enjoy these heat waves it can be very hard on babies, small children and the elderly.
Keeping your cool in Brampton Ontario is a little easier with the help of the City.

They are extending the hours of many of the recreation centres and splash pads and opening the atrium in the city hall as a cooling centre for residents. For more information on their hours in Brampton call 3-1-1.

Keeping your cool in Brampton Ontario helps by drinking lots of water during this heat wave and please remember to put out fresh water for our furry and feathered friends. Give them lots of water and never leave pets in a closed vehicle.

Great reminder Al and Peggy.  Also, wonderful to hear that the City is taking steps with longer hours to give everyone some relief.

Al & Peggy - I like the sunshine, but those hot temperatures seem like a bit much to me!  Hope you stay cool.  Glad to hear the pools are staying open longer - that must be an enornous relief.

Al & Peggy, what is this world coming to...97 degrees in Brampton Ontario???  There's just something very wrong with that...I expect that sort of weather here in Alabama, but not Canada...so where do I have to go now to find a little cool weather...Alaska??  The Arctic???

We have had the same hot and steamy weather, but I was careful this morning and took a cart instead of walking.
