But then again, maybe you wouldn't want old Zack as a close friend.</big></span></p> <p><span><big><img title="You been burning through the pages of this book and enjoy every page" src="http://activerain.com/image_store/uploads/7/7/5/2/1/ar127993937012577.jpg" height="312" alt="cover of the book Bad Move" width="190" /><strong>This book is so well put together.</strong> It is a crime type story all wrapped up with suspense and humour.  You will be quickly turning the pages because you can not get enough of Zack Walker. <br /><strong><br />What a great introduction 'Bad Move' is to Linwood Barclay's writings,</strong> a former Toronto Star newspaper columnist. When I first arrived here at the Centre back in February, I was far from being the good-looking girl that I am now. I was and still am suffering from Generalized Demodectic Mange. What is demodectic mange you ask? It is a skin disease caused by tiny mites that inhabit everybody's bodies. When your immune system is very low, like mine was, the mites take control. The end result is a dog that has lesions covering most of their body, is very itchy and uncomfortable. My hair had fallen out on most of my body and my feet were very swollen. I had a bath once a week and was put on medication to help me get rid of the mites. I am pleased to say that I am recovering nicely, thus far. I am going to be a special needs case, because we don't know if the mange will ever go away. <br /><br /><img title="Humane Society" src="http://photos-h.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs211.snc4/38901_430421322552_67419982552_5313004_6435726_a.jpg" height="270" alt="Ciara" width="180" />The wonderful staff here is taking applications for me to find a new forever home. What they (and me) are looking for are: <br /><br />1) Somebody that has Dobermann experience. What this means is that my new family will have an understanding of my breed, our potential health problems and behaviour. <br /><br />2) Somebody willing to take the time and patience to help me learn. I still have some very bad manners and it is going to take a lot of time and patience to help me get on the right track. I will need to go to Obedience School to help me learn what I need to know. <br /><br />3) Sorry, no children under the age of 12 please. But we'll leave that to our illustrious home inspectors here on Active Rain.<br /><strong><br />A small drip was noticed around the bottom of a toilet, hmmmm, was the toilet sweating or is there in fact a leak somewhere? </strong>Investigation proved there was a leak. <br /><strong><br />Well let's get to it and put in a new seal and tighten everything up.</strong> Nope, didn't even get that far, before it was discovered there was an issue with the toilet's shut off valve. This could be a long post, so we'll just cut right to the chase.
